Mrs. Dona Mae Neupert McLaughlin, 79 of St. Augustine passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Community Hospice @ baily Center following a brief illness. She was born in Pittsburg, PA on Feb. 26, 1931 to the late John Chester and Nellie Irene (Black) Neupert and had been a resident of St. Augustine since 1988 moving from North Carolina. Mrs. McLaughlin was baptized Lutheran and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Bill McLaughlin; daughter, Irene Williams and daughter in-law, Linda McLaughlin. Survivors are her children, W.L. McLaughlin of Richmond, VA, Donna Grandy of Grandy, NC, Patrick McLaughlin of St. Augustine, Valerie Collins of Summerville, SC, John McLaughlin of St. Augustine, and John Williams of Moyock, NC. She is also survived by her siblings, Ruth OBrien of Leesburg, Ronald Neupert of Chesapeake, VA, Sandra Hilderbrand of Virginia Beach, VA, 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
