Mr. Donald Edward Muchmore 87, of Keystone Heights died Monday, October 24, 2011 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Muchmore was born on August 21, 1924 in Summit, New Jersey to the late Charles and Edna Muchmore and had served in the United States Navy. Mr. Muchmore had also served as a Missionary teaching in Congo for 30 years prior to his retirement. In 1991 he his wife Eleanor had moved to Keystone Heights from Madison, NJ and became members of the Park of the Palms Church where they were very active. Mr. Muchmore was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor in 2001. Survivors are his sons, Allen Muchmore and his wife (Vivian) of New Cumberland, PA and David Muchmore and his wife (Ginger) of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Libby Muchmore and his brother, Stanley Muchmore both of Keystone Heights, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Keystone Heights Cemetery with his sons David and Allen officiating. A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Park of the Palms Chapel.
