Donna Marie Davie

Mrs. Donna Marie Davie age 70, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Wednesday, August 16, 2017 following a long illness. She was born in Hampton on May 31, 1947 to the late Leroy and Ella Mae (Lamoree) Rhoden. Mrs. Davie was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She liked to read books, put together jigsaw puzzles and in her younger years sewing. Mrs. Davie also loved collecting clocks and had a collection of over 200. Her three siblings, Irvin Rhoden, William Rhoden and Gloria Rhoden had all preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband of 50 years, Richard C. Davie and their five children, Michael Davie (Vickie) of Starke, Rhonda Davie of Jacksonville, Janice Zike (Shawn) of Acworth, Georgia, Daniel Davie of Keystone Heights and Adam Davie of Gainesville. Also left behind are five siblings; Robert Earl "Buddy" Rhoden (Betty) of Hampton, Roy Ronald "Shorty" Rhoden (June) of Kentucky, Raymond Rhoden (Mary Ann) also of Hampton, Sheila Stanley (Romey) of Keystone Heights and Larry Rhoden (Cheryl) of New York. Mrs. Davie was Granny to Victoria Zike, Aleah Zike and Leonda Attaway and Great Granny to Killian Attaway. Funeral services for Mrs. Davie will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 21, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples and Pastor Scott Stanland officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Trinity Baptist Church, P.O.
