Mrs. Donna Barrow Givens, age 66, of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at UF Health Hospital in Gainesville. She was born in Long Beach, California on October 26, 1948 to the late James R. and Shirley (Seymour) Barrow and was raised in the Baptist faith. Mrs. Givens was a homemaker and a great mother and Mimi. She was very crafty and enjoyed collecting dolls, cooking and shopping. Her husband Lloyd F. "Buddy" Givens, Jr. preceded her in death in 2011. Survivors are her three children; Lisa Givens Newman and Lacey Rhea (Logan) of Gainesville and Timmy Givens (Stacey) of Keystone Heights; four siblings, Denise "Niecie" Barrow of Palm Coast, Deborah Singletary and Doug Barrow both of Keystone Heights and Dennis Barrow of Pennsylvania. Also left behind are her eight beautiful grandchildren, Dustin, Emily, Taylor, Sydni, Madison, Coy, Emma Claire and Lydia as well as many life-long friends. Viewing for Mrs. Givens will be Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 between 6-8 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 also in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Frakes officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville.
