Donna Gene Crews Owen, 65, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away Tuesday August 9, 2016. Born in Gainesville, Florida on March 4, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Donald Edward and Lonnis Thomas Crews. Mrs. Owen was a registered nurse with Stephens County Hospital and Northeast Georgia Medical Center with over 30 years of combined service. She was of the Methodist faith and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Allison Owen & Chad Tanksley, of Cornelia, GA and Jennifer & Matt Shirley of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Harper, Erin, and Owen Shirley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy & Steve Wolfe of High Springs, FL, and Terri & Fletcher Kirby of Lake City, FL; niece, Laurie Lane; nephews, T.J.
