Donna L. Ricketts, 74, passed away on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring Hospice in Jacksonville.A Jacksonville native, Donna was born January 17, 1945 to Clyde & Louise Leake. She was a graduate of Englewood High School, class of 1962 and a retired comptroller for Southern Bell Telephone Company.She is survived by her husband, Leroy Ricketts; children, Cindy Ricketts, Joe Ricketts (wife, Brandie Ricketts) &Melissa Cassidy (husband, BJ Cassidy); 5 grandchildren, Bradley, Trey, Cameron, Ashley & Shelby; 2 great grandchildren, Braxton & Carson; siblings, Jackie Utter, Ted Leake & Leslie Leake and by many extended family, church family & friends.The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday May 21st from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 22nd in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Michael J. Larkin officiating.
