Funeral services for Mrs. Donnie Martin Crawford, 86, who passed away on June 28, 2014, will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. The family will receive friends Tuesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Crawford was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Kings Road Baptist Church and was active in the Lions Club. She had been a school crossing guard and had worked in retail. She was a sweet person that loved her family, animals and life in general. She will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, the late Melvin James Crawford, daughter, Kimberly Crawford, and sons, Mitchell Crawford and Farley James Crawford.
