Dorena O'Neal Chitty Feldman Dorena ONeal Chitty Feldman, 94, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on November 16, 2013. She was born in Cobbtown, GA to Jesse and BBell ONeal, grew up in St. Augustine and spent the remaining 75 years in Jacksonville, FL. She was married to James Lester Chitty, Sr. for 45 years until his death in 1984, and was General Office Manager of their State Farm Insurance Agency for 30 years. In 1996 she married Dwight Barker Feldman. She was an active member, Sunday School Director and Teacher as a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church, Parkwood Baptist Church and currently of Terry Parker Baptist Church. Dorena enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and was president of the Holly Oaks Community Club.Dorena was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband James Lester Chitty, Sr., her sister Tera Manning and her brother Carlton ONeal.She was briefly survived by her husband Dwight Feldman, and is survived by her son James (Louise) Chitty of Ponte Vedra Beach and three daughters: Ann (Thomas) Wade of Tampa, FL, Carol (John) Moyer of Jacksonville and Nancy (Roger) Smythers of Jacksonville.Her family legacy includes 22 Grandchildren: Trey (Lauren) Chitty, Mary Allison Chitty, Matthew (Jennifer) Chitty, Amy (Ryan) Biggs, Nathan (Jamie) Wade, Laura (Phillip) Hooks, Courtney (Drew) Pilkenton, Jason Moyer, Adrienne (Rob) Miller, Adam Smythers, Aaron (Brittany) Smythers, Jordan (Kasey) Collins, and Matthew Collins as well as 15 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 22, at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., South. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23 at the Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Howard Goodwin officiating.
