With great sadness, we are sorry to announce the passing of Doris Eleanor Bustelo, age 100, of Jacksonville, Florida on July 22, 2022.Doris was born on December 17, 1921 in Aliquippa, PA to Thomas and Olive Flanagan. She was one of 10 children. Doris was married to her loving husband, Joe Bustelo for 56 years before his passing in 1999. Doris was a loving mother to two children, Richard Bustelo (Ann) of Melbourne, FL and Eleanor King of Jacksonville, FL and loving grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 6 great-granchildren. Doris enjoyed bowling, playing canasta, and was a School Lunch Cafeteria Supervisor with Hillsborough County Schools for many years before she moved back to her hometown of Eureka, FL after retirement.Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Olive Flanagan; sisters, Margaret, Hazel, Marie, Jane, Helen, and brothers, James, Stephen, and Thomas. She was also proceeded in death by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Bustelo and grandson-in-law, Christopher Branson. Doris is survived by her sister, Theresa; two children, Richard (Ann) and Eleanor; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth King (Liz), Rachel Newell (Bobby), Jason Bustelo (Vanessa), Matthew Bustelo (Mercedes), and Kimberly Branson (Jason); 6 great-grandchildren, Christine King, Alan Prevost III, Noah Newell (Chelsea), Piper Newell, Zoe Branson, and Zia Branson, and 1 great-great grandchild along with a multitude of nieces and nephews and extended family.The memorial service will take place at Aspire Church of San Marco.
