Doris L. Glod

Doris L. Glod age 88 of Starke formally of West Virginia, passed away in Starke on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Parkside Assisted Living. Mrs. Glod was born on April 1, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward and Helen "Dorries" Westphal. Doris was always willing to lend a helping hand. She volunteered with emergency rescue, served as the choir director at her church in West Virginia and worked as a claim adjustor for the State of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Glod and her parents. Survivors include her children, Robert P. (Donna) Glod, Debbie (Jim) McReynolds, and Carol (Paul) Ferrell; grandchildren, Robert W. (Ellen) Glod, Tori Glod, Paul (Elizabeth) Thomas Ferrell, Caitlin McReynolds, Sarah McReynolds, and Brittany Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Lucy Grace Glod and Hunter Monroe Glod; and many nieces and nephews.
