Doris Mae Greer

GREER: Funeral services for Doris Mae Greer, 90, who passed away on August 1, 2018, will be held Saturday at 2:30 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Greer was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of First Baptist Church and had graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 1/2 years, the late Walter Raymond Greer Jr., Brother, Robert B. Grooms and Grandson, Kenneth A. Greer. Survivors include her 2 sons, Richard A. Greer and Russell A. Greer (Cheryl); 2 daughters, Remelle Arlene Fender and Joanne L. Nitka (Scott); 1 brother, James A. Grooms; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren..FuneralGeorge H.
