Johnson, Doris Sapp, 83 of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, February 14th, 2015. Doris was born in Starke, FL to William E. Sapp and Sibyl Roberts Sapp on December 25, 1931.Doris graduated from Gainesville High School and attended the University of Florida. She learned the art of flower arranging, which became a lifelong hobby, while working at University City Florist and later retired from Gainesville Gas Company.Doris was a devout Christian and sang in the choir at North Central Baptist Church for many, many years. She was loved by all who knew her for her kind and giving spirit. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Doris is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Stuebe and JoAnn Thompson(Jack) of Gainesville and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Doris will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 at 3:00pm at the North Central Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Carr officiating, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00pm. Interment will be private in Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central.
