Dorothy Lee Besssent Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Bessent, 79, who passed away on September 15, 2012, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Woodstock Baptist Church, 9120 Crystal Springs Road, Jacksonville, FL 32221, with Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Bessent was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a longtime resident. Most recently she resided in St. George, Georgia. She had retired from the Duval County School Board after many years of service as a Manager in Food Service.
