A celebration of life for Dorothy Brigman Eriksen, 102, of Jacksonville, FL will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Friday, September 29, 2023. The service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Albert Byrd officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Jeannette B. Strickland of Jax, FL and granddaughter; Staci G. Strickland of Neptune Beach, FL. Dorothy was born 1/2/21 in Eustis, FL, to Morton and Gail Hopson. She had 2 sisters, Florence and Martha, and one brother, Morton. She moved to Jacksonville, Fl after high school, attended Massey Business College, and held various book keeping positions. Dorothy was fortunate to have two loving husbands in her life; Joffre Brigman (1941-1966) and Erik Eriksen (1979-2022). She took great pride in her garden and loved pink roses. Other talents/hobbies throughout the years included golf, sewing, bridge, and traveling.In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Dorothys name to Cancer Specialists of North Florida.
