Mrs. Dorothy Jean Malone, 79 of Keystone Heights passed away at her sons home on Monday, November 30, 2009. Mrs. Malone was born on Jan. 10, 1930 in Birmingham, AL to the late Reginald E. and Mary Belle (Lambert) Hyde. Dorothy had been a resident of Keystone Heights for the past 5 months moving from Homosassa and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Major Cleveland Malone. Sons: Michael J. Malone and his wife and caregiver Mindy of Keystone Heights; Wayne Metcalfe and his wife Deb of Homosassa. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Lecanto Church of Christ with Foy Cherry officiating, 797 South Rowe Terr., Lecanto, FL 34461.
