Dorothy was born on January 13, 1944, in Vidalia, Georgia, and spent her later years in Jacksonville, Florida, where she created a warm and welcoming home.

As a devoted homemaker, Dorothy poured her love and care into her family, especially her cherished son, Shelby Carter, who will remember her for her unwavering support and kindness.
