Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Tanner Scott, age 84, of Starke passed away at Hospice in Gainesville Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was born in Lawtey on May 30, 1931 to the late Dave and Florence (Reed) Tanner. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Bradford County. Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Baptist Church inLawtey and enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by two husbands, James Earl Teston and Reese Scott; one son, Jerry Earl Teston; one granddaughter, Kristen Hayes and a daughter in law, Jill Teston. Her survivors are her five children; Dianne Hayes (Randy) of Starke, Kathy Gaines (David) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Nancy Teston of Los Angeles, California, Wayne Teston (Kim) of Starke and Mike Teston (Fiance Brenda) of Middleburg. Also left behind are her siblings, Henry, Charles, Doris, Lois, Shirley, and Virginia; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. The viewing for Mrs. Scott will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 with Rev.
