Dorothy Simpson

Ms. Dorothy (Hartman) Simpson, 96, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Ms. Hartman was born March 14, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas L. and Florence E. (Wohleber) Hartman. She served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of WWII. Ms. Simpson was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Fleming Island and was a resident of Green Cove Springs. Survivors are her children, James Aloysius Simpson, Jr (Dianne) of Hendersonville, NC, Patricia Dinkins (Ford) of Green Cove Springs, Mary Chapman (Bill) of Green Cove Springs, Michele Robinson (the late Harold) of Longwood, Deborah Owens (Jim) of Castleberry, brother, Michael Hartman of Ponte Vedra, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Fleming Island with Father Donal Sullivan presiding.
