STOKES: Funeral services for Dorothy Geiger Stokes, 96, who passed away peacefully on October 26, 2017, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206 with Rev. Alton Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Brickyard Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida at 2:30 PM on Tuesday. Mrs. Stokes was born in Hilliard, Florida and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She had retired from King Edward Cigars and had worked for many years as a waitress. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith and was preceded in death by her husband of many years, the late Cleveland H. Stokes Sr., son, Cleveland H. Stokes Jr., sisters, Margaret, Katherine, Geraldine, Rachel, Grace, Joy and her granddaughter, Leslie Shepherd. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Stokes Ingle and her husband Danny; Sisters, Christine Crews, Ann OBerry, Faye Spikes and her husband Billy; Grandson, Rodney Stokes; and 3 great-grandchildren, J.
