Mrs. Dorothy M. Thomas, age 91, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born February 1, 1923 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to the late William and Dolly (Beard) Miner and was a homemaker. Mrs. Thomas had moved to Keystone Heights 10 years ago from Oklahoma and attended the Keystone Heights Senior Center. Until a few years ago she would play golf at the Keystone Heights Golf and Country Club and she would also attend the Thursday night dances at the Shrine Club. She was a musician who enjoyed playing the piano and teaching others. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Onial A. Thomas. Survivors are her four daughters, Holly Koppa and Sharon Greentree both of Keystone Heights, Teresa Conrad of Melbourne Beach, and Connie Deeble of Eureka, Montana; one brother, Meredith Miner of Texas, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Thomas will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel.
