Dorothy V. Reeves

Dorothy V. Reeves, 98, long time resident, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of High Springs. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star Santa Fe Chapter #105. She was preceded in death after 60 years to her late husband Arthur G. Reeves, Sr. She is survived by son Arthur (Mary) Reeves, Jr., Trenton, Florida; daughters Joyce (Chet) Messer, Belmont, Massachusetts and Pamela (Dean) Papas, Long Island, New York; step daughter Carolyn (Marty) Mastros, Vineland, New Jersey; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Evans Carter Funeral Home, High Springs. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, High Springs. Interment will be at the High Springs Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
