Douglas Ray Curles, 63 of Keystone Heights, Florida passed away at his home on January 14, 2015. Mr. Curles moved to Florida from Jasper, Indiana last year. He served in the Army from 1968-70. Mr. Curles loved volunteering for churches, cooking in soup kitchens, and sitting on his back porch enjoying nature. He was married to Patty Curles for 41 wonderful years and was a true family man. Preceded in death by his father, John Edward Curles, Sr., and his brother, Gregory Curles. Survivors include his wife Patty Curles; mom, Lynn Jakcsy; dad, Ron Jakcsy; sons, Doug (Pam) Curles and James (Katherine) Curles; daughter, Tanisha Curles and Tyan (Brian) Mullen; brothers, John Curles, Gerald (Lorrie Ann) Parish, and Terrance Parish; sisters, Tobbie (Alvin) Valentine and Leilauni Wright; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
