Douglas R. Perkinson, Sr., 76, loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend passed away on June 20, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kittrell; son, Douglas Raye, Jr.; brother, Terry (Dolores) of Phoenix, Az; sister, Debra Taylor (Dale) of Mountville, SC; sister-in-law, Nora Hargrove (Jimmy) of Richmond VA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was born in Petersburg, VA on November 27, 1939 to Lois Collier and Early Preston Perkinson. He was a 30-plus year employee of Nationwide Insurance. He loved boating, jet skiing, auto racing and motor homing.A Celebration of Life Service is to be held at Hague United Methodist Church on July 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
