Douglas DeVault Roseborough, 91, of Jacksonville, FL passed away December 26, 2014. He was born in Mount Dora, FL on Jan. 8, 1923, to Douglas and Mary Roseborough. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 69 years, Barbara, three children (Virginia, Mary Lee, Doug, Jr.), five grandchildren (Tommy, Susan, Drew, Ben, Will), 14 great-grandchildren, and two sisters (Marian and Laura). He served as a Navy lieutenant in World War II and worked for Sears & Roebuck for over 30 years. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday December 31, 2014, at the Southside Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Rev. Clayton Turner officiating. Interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
