Mr. Doyle B. Cochran went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2015 in Gainesville, Florida where he had lived with his daughter and son-in-law in recent years. He enjoyed being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who visited him frequently.Mr. Cochran was born March 12, 1926 in Barber, Arkansas, and served in the Philippines during World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees. He loved the Lord and served as a Gideon for over 40 years where he carried the message of salvation into jails and prisons.Mr. Cochran was very community oriented and placed a high value on education. He was a faithful supporter of Trevecca Nazarene University. He spent the majority of his working career with Boeing in quality control on many space programs.Mr. Cochran is survived by his daughter, Carol Blankenship and two sons, Mack Cochran and Doyle Cochran, Jr. He also has a twin brother, Dale Cochran and two sisters, Dorothy Neisler and Lizzie Laura Russell, still living.He will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
