Mr. Doyle Rex White, Sr. age 87 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at St. Vincents Clay Hospital. Doyle was born on December 18, 1936 in Brilliant, Alabama to the late Dee Clinton and Martha Lona (OMary) White and moved to Keystone Heights 16 years ago from Starke. Prior to retirement he was a supervisor working with airplanes at the Naval Air Station. Mr. White served in the United States Navy and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and flying his private airplane. Survivors are, his wife of 31 years, Dorothy "Dottie" White of Keystone Heights, children, Estelle Strader (Michael) of Pompano Beach, T.R. Hardison (Paige) of St. Augustine, Troy Hardison (Lisa) of Ormond Beach, Doyle Rex White, Jr. (Marla) of Jacksonville, siblings, Annie Maxine Stillings, John Harold White and Ronald Lee White. Also left are his grandchildren, Patrick, Brian, Trenton, Aaron, Riley and Sam along with great grandchildren, Grant, Nora, Alice, Sarabeth, and Meryn.Funeral services for Mr. White will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hope Baptist Church with Doctor Larry Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
