Dr. William A. Van Dyke Jr., 79 of Gainesville, FL went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2014. William was born January 6, 1935, in Greenville, Texas, to William A Van Dyke and Estella Davis Van Dyke.Dr. Van Dyke was a Senior Systems Engineer and program manager with the U.S. Department of Energy and retired in 2003.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia A. Van Dyke, 2 sons, Dr. William K. Van Dyke and Jay P. Van Dyke, a daughter, Vicki L. Eddy, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and a host of friends.God rest his soul.
