TURNER: Funeral services for E. Kathleen Turner, 90, who passed away on October 30, 2021, will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Randy Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner was born in Brockton, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church, (Currently she was attending the North Jacksonville Baptist Church), American Business Womens Assn., and The Red Hat Society. She had retired from Barnett Bank where she had worked in Community Affairs. She also was a past manager with the Duval County Supervisor of Elections. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, the late Melvin A, Turner Sr. Survivors include her 2 sons, Melvin A. Turner, Jr. (Barbara), and Richard K. Turner (Nancy); 2 sisters , Grace Brewington and Nellie. 5 grandchildren, Allison Judah (Titus), Jonathan Turner (Stephanie), Nathan Turner (Susan), Rick Turner Jr. (Stacey), and Melissa Turner; 14 great-grandchildren, Kendall Helms (Caleb), Micah Judah, Mitchell Judah (Kayla), Julianna Judah, Tyler Turner, Trey Turner, Gabe Judah, Alex Turner, Abby Turner, John Mark Judah, Seth Turner, Rylie Turner, Sydney Turner, and Sam Turner, 2 Great-great-grandchildren, Braxton Helms, and Maddux Helms..VisitationGeorge H.
