Earl Donald Conner

Mr. Earl Donald Conner age 88, of Starke passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home. Mr. Conner was born on June 23, 1928 in Bradford County to the late Raleigh and Pearl (Sapp) Conner and was a lifelong resident. Earl was a Baptist and served in the United States Army. Prior to retirement he worked for E.I. Dupont for over 35 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives: Violet (Higginbotham) Conner and Margaret Conner his siblings, Evelyn Conner, Joyce Coleman and Ralph Conner, his sons, Michael Conner and Robert Edwards, and his grandson, Timothy Edwards. Survivors are: his wife: Marlene (Burney) Conner of Starke, sons: Randy Conner (Priscilla) of Starke and Larry Edwards (Kathy) of Tampa, Step-Children: Ricky Clemons, Victor Clemons, Kim Wimpy (Richard), Ty Clemons (Kim), sisters: Nancy Coleman (Hilton), Barbara Jean Crawford, and Betty Ann Griffis (Jack) all of Starke. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kayla Alvarez (Jesse), Randa Roddenberry (Tyler), Hanna Conner, Curtis Edwards, Matthew Edwards and Andrew Edwards, great grandchildren: Huck Alvarez, Lawson Roddenberry, Luke Alvarez and an additional eleven great grandchildren along with six step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Pastor Jason Crawford and Pastor Lester Austin officiating.
