Mr. Wayne Cumbo age 71 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home Tuesday, May 16, 2023, following an extended illness. He was born August 14, 1952, in Buchanan County, Virginia to the late Calvert and Evelyn (Ramey) Cumbo. He retired as a manager from AT&T Cable Company following many years of dedicated employment. Mr. Cumbo was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church and enjoyed being outdoors hunting or fishing. He also loved watching his grandkids play sports. He was pops to many players not just his own grandchildren. He had also been a youth pastor and principal at Hollister Christian School. He was a loving man who was also a fighter and never gave up. Mr. Cumbo leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 52 years Faye (Bacon) Cumbo of Keystone Heights and their three children Bo Cumbo (Gladis) of Keystone Heights, Cindy Marchand and Jenny Jenkins (Nathan) all of Interlachen. Also left to remember him, Brother Bobby Cumbo of Interlachen and Sister Bernice Stuferd of Tampa. He was lovingly called "Pops" and "Pop-Pop" by his eight grandchildren, Jake, Chase, Lane, Nate, Jenna, Wade, Bella and Luke. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 11am at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Stephens officiating. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
