Mr. Earl Paul French age 84, of Starke passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Kindred Hospital. He was born on October 4, 1924 to the late Ernest and Freda Kapke French. Mr. French was a retired Vice President of a Trucking Company, served in the United States Navy, and moved to Starke 3 years ago from Ocala. He was a member of the Granite City Masonic Lodge #877. and he transferred to the Morocco Shrine Temple in Jacksonville from Ainad Shrine Temple E. St. Louis, IL He also was a member of the Scottish Rite Masons, Belleville, IL, and transferred to Ocala, was a member of the Ocala Shrine Club where her served as Secretary from 1997-2001, the York Rite Bodies in Granite City where he served as past Secretary, Treasurer all three bodies plus held office in the East RAM and Council, the White Shrine of Jerusalem in St. Louis, MO where he served as Past Watchman of Sheppards, transferring from Granite City, IL; the Order of Eastern Star Granite City # 650 where he served as past Patron twice. Survivors are his wife of 61 years Mary Alice Ezell French of Starke; daughter Dianne Westcott of Starke; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. French will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM. in the First Presbyterian Church, 921 E. Call St., Starke with Reverend Gary Hardesty officiating.
