Mrs. Edna Pearl Cromer age 78, of Keystone Heights passed away, Friday December 12, 2014 at E.T. York Hospice in Gainesville. Mrs. Cromer was born in Gadsden, Alabama on August 1, 1936 to the late Nathan B. and Deanie (Roland) Floyd. She and her late husband had moved to Keystone Heights in 1960 from Anniston, Alabama and were members of Hope Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Cromer was a cook at Andrews Drug Store. Not only did she enjoy cooking, she loved fishing, flowers, and gardening. Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by her husband, George Cromer in 2009. Survivors are her daughters, Debra Griffis and Pamela Cromer both of Keystone Heights; Siblings, Wanda Gail Olsen of Tennessee, Archie Floyd, Tommie Brown, Georgia Whisenant, and Ray Floyd all of Alabama. Also left behind are her two grandchildren, Michael Griffis and Dena Boyette along with four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.
