Mrs. Edna Lenear Underwood age 85 of Keystone Heights passed away in Gainesville on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 9, 1936, William Russell and Hallie Melinda (Covington) Lenear. Mrs. Edna had a strong faith in God and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She also grew up farming, and actively enjoyed taking care of others. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Alfred Hodge Underwood of 54 years. Her survivors include her two daughters, Cindy Folino of Tampa, Alice Lewis (Stoney) of Starke; Brothers Charles Lenear, and Dexter Lenear; She was also called "Grandma" by grandchildren Taylor and Jeffrey; A memorial service will be held at a later date.
