Edward Joseph Gardner, age 67, of Keystone Heights, FL, passed away at Shands Trauma Center in Gainesville on February 4, 2023 due to injuries sustained in the crash of a Moped on January 25, 2023 in Keystone Heights. He was born in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas on July 25, 1955 to Quincy Edward & Marjorie Ellen (Hubbard) Gardner. Edward was also known as "Eddie Joe", "Eddie" or "Ed' and was a longtime resident of Keystone Heights, graduating with the class of 1973 from Keystone Heights High School. His favorite hymn was Amazing Grace and he was a supporter of the Keystone Heights AMVETS. All of his trials are now over as he is safe in the arms of Jesus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Carol Louise Lineback of Kingsport, TN. He is survived by 2 sons, Larry Edward Gardner and Joseph Michael Gardner, along with his sister, Wilma Jean Drew (Bill) of Blairsville, GA, 2 uncles, 2 nephews and 1 niece.
