Mr. Edward Nathan Green age 70, of Starke passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Green was born on July 22, 1939 in Starke to the late Willie E. and Mathel Morrell Green and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Green retired from the Florida National Guard after 28 years of service, served in the United States Navy, and enjoyed fishing. He was an extremely strong family man, and loved spending time with them. Survivors are his wife of 48 years Geraldine T. Green of Starke; daughter: Lee Ann Blalock (Jerry) of Starke; sons: William Edward Green (Joanne) of Keystone Heights; Bradford Edward Green (Stephanie) of Starke; sisters: Sharon Sweat of Starke; Martha Futch of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren: Brittanee Green; Heather Green; Bethany Green; Tiffany Jack Green; Jake Blalock; Chelsea Blalock; great grandchild: Tori Thomas. A memorial visitation will be held at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL, 620 E. Nona Street in Starke on Wednesday June 23, 2010 from 7-9 PM. Memorial services will be on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Madison Street Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Warren officiating.
