Edward "Eddie" V. Larsen

Mr. Edward V. Larsen, Jr. age 69, of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He entered his eternal home in heaven very peacefully with his family by his side at Haven Hospice Care Center in Orange Park. He was born in Jacksonville on September 25, 1947 to the late Edward V. Larsen, Sr. and Helen (Grace) Bunkley. Prior to his retirement, Edward worked for CSX Railroad; he also owned and operated Salt Springs Seafood Restaurant, and was currently in home remodeling and construction business. Edward was blessed with a loving family and many friends who loved and respected him. He lived a full life enjoying his favorite hobbies, boating, fishing, cooking, dancing, and helping others. He supported our Veterans by his involvement at the Amvets Post 86 in Keystone Heights. Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward V Larsen, Sr., stepfather, Charles J. Bunkley, his mother, Helen E. Bunkley, and his brother Ronnie Larsen. He is survived by his loving daughter, Karen (Scott) Crook and their three children, Gracie, Walker and Jackson all of Starke, along with his loving stepdaughter, Heather Hess, and her daughter Abbie, of Ocala. A memorial service for Edward will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday; March 4, 2017 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Crook and Pastor Steve McCollum officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning one hour prior to the services.
