Mr. Edward F. "Skip" Lewis, II, age 66 of Melrose passed away at his home on Sunday, December 20, 2015. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware on February 19, 1949 to the late Edward and Verda (Bramer) Lewis. Mr. Lewis moved to Melrose one year ago from Maryland where he had retired as an Air Conditioner and Refrigeration Mechanic. Skip enjoyed go cart racing, carpentry, and truck driving; he also enjoyed being a free spirited individual and camping with his wife at dirt Maryland; two step children, Suzanne Durst (Mike) of Melrose and Chris Carey (Deanna) of Orange Beach, Alabama. Also left behind are his two siblings, James "Jim" Lewis (Robin) of New Jersey and Jay Wrightman (Fred) of Florida Keys; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. For those who would like to help in sharing the memories of Skip are welcome to do so on Sat.
