Mr. Edward Wayne WilkinsonMr. Edward Wayne Wilkinson age 58, of Starke passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Shands at the University of Florida. He was born on May 17, 1953 in Jacksonville to the late Forest and Katherine (Suddath) Wilkinson and was raised in Arkansas on Petit Jean Mountain. He moved to Lawtey in 1981, to Starke in 1984, and was a protestant. Wayne served in the United States Air Force, and had a law enforcement career that spanned over 20 years during which time he achieved the rank of lieutenant. He proudly served the communities of Baldwin, Lawtey, Starke and Bradford County. Survivors are his wife of 12 years Cynthia (Thourot) Wilkinson of Starke; children: Erin Smith (Eric) of Starke; Michael Blalock (Pat) of Orange Park; Lisa Blalock of Lawtey; Trina Czarowitz of Macclenny; Emery McDaniel, III (Melody) of Starke; Annastasia McDaniel (Cayce) of Starke; siblings: Corrinne Green of Jacksonville; Charles Blitch; Eugene Blitch both of Tampa; ten grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Wilkinson will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 6:00 PM in MADISON STREET BAPTIST CHURCH, 900 w. Madison St., Starke, FL 32091 with Reverend Justin Kirksey officiating.
