Mr. Edwin "Ed" Lee Sanders, age 67, of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Shands Hospital in Starke. He was born February 5, 1952 in Pava, Georgia to the late Clyde and Edna (Davis) Sanders. Ed grew up in Starke and graduated in the Class of 1970. He then joined the National Guard for the next 14 years. He had owned and operated Eds Tree Service along with being the former owner and member of Donaldson Track Hunting Club in Waldo. Ed also enjoyed fishing, traveling but mostly being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra (Donaldson) Sanders and three children Amy Sanders (Rick Sanford) and Christopher Scott Sanders all of Keystone Heights and Christa Fisher (Randy) of Pennsylvania along with two sisters Peggy Sanders Robertson (Billy) and Linda Sanders Lee (James) all of Melrose. He was also lovingly called "Papa" by Jamie Edwin Lee Sanders, Sandra Jean Trowell, Brittany Lynn Trowell, Kimberly Sanford, Amber Sanford, Kayla Sanford, Christina Welch, Kandice Sanford and Ricky Sanford in addition to 23 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Ed will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019, in the Victory Revival Center in Starke. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
