Marian Eilene Israel, 78, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on February 7, 2015. Eilene was born in Palatka, FL on November 10, 1936 to Fred & Marian Lucille Stevens. Eilene was raised in Jacksonville and attended Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1954. She was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Downtown. Eilene was a wonderful wife, mother & grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William David Israel; her children, Carrie DeLoach (Bob), David Israel (Kitty), Mark Israel (Tonnie), Margie Sorrells, Virginia Kennedy (Chuck), Nancy Phillips (Mark) & Vicky Talton (Johnny); 13 grandchildren, Stacey Phillips, David Israel III, Nicholas Israel, Mark Israel, Jr., Christopher Sorrells, Capt. Benjamin Sorrells, USAF (Jessica), Jennifer Kennedy, Charles Kennedy, Jr. (Jennifer), Joshua Kennedy, Joseph Phillips (Christina), Ashley Phillips, Jason Phillips & William Talton (Jamie); 16 great-grandchildren, Journey Israel, Emily Israel, Cason Sorrells, Ansley Sorrells, Tayler Perrin, Gabrial Perrin, Caroline Perrin, Riley Kennedy, Michaela Kennedy, Peyton Kennedy, Nolan Kennedy, Connor Kennedy, Dillon Kennedy, Karter Phillips, Calleigh Talton & Charleigh Talton and a brother, Michael Stevens (Marg) . A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday February 11, 2015 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Rev. Steve McCollum officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service hour.
