Eleanor Lorrene Norton

Mrs. Eleanor Lorrene Norton age 88, of Lawtey passed away at her home Monday, January 21, 2019, following a long illness. She was born October 22, 1930, in Evansburg, Pennsylvania to Albert and Clara (Harrell) Strickland. Mrs. Norton was a homemaker and a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church and the U.M.W. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by five siblings Leonard Strickland, Harold Strickland, Edward Strickland, Clyde Strickland and Edith Lundberg. Mrs. Norton leaves behind a son Larry Norton (Denise) of Jacksonville and a daughter Sharon Diane (Eddie) Huffstickler of Lawtey. Also left behind are three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019, with Pastor Sheron Willson officiating. Interment will be at Crosby Lake Cemetery.
