Mrs. Eleanor (Lewis) Towner, age 91, of Penney Farms died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010.Born on March 17, 1919 in Hornell, NY, she was the daughter of the late Glee C. and Minnie (Johnson) Lewis. In her early years she was a Key Punch Operator with Erie Railroad.She was of the American Baptist faith and she and her husband were volunteers of the year in Tallahassee. She was pre-deceased by her husband; William E. Towner. She is survived by her daughter; Anne T. Keller of Jacksonville. Her sons; William E. Towner of Glenside, PA and Greg Towner of Genoa, OH. Nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Margery Ellis, Annabelle Bardeen and Sally Farrell all of NY.Memorial Services will be held at the Penney Memorial Church, Penney Farms at a later date.
