Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Groves, age 77, of Keystone Heights passed away March 25, 2015 from injuries she had sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Yonkers, New York on April 13, 1937 to the late Joseph and Helen Odell. Mrs. Groves had been a long time resident of the Jacksonville and Keystone Heights area, and was employed by Pizza Hut as a shift manager for 16 years before her retirement several years ago. She attended Gadara Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Keystone. Mrs. Groves is survived by her daughter, Gracie Groves of Keystone Heights and two sons, Ray Groves of Sebastian and Bobby Groves of Missouri. Also left behind are seven siblings, Helen Morgan of South Carolina, Joseph Odell of Minnesota, Steven Odell and Richard Odell both of Pinellas Park, Harriett Odell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Horace Odell of Evansville, Indiana and Patricia Boncimino of Palm Beach Gardens; six grandchildren, Angela Groves, Jolon Lenox, James, Jason, Ray and Nathan Groves along with close friends Donna and Lisa Lenox. A memorial service for Mrs. Groves will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Keystone Heights Senior center, 125 NE Commercial Cir., Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
