Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Sarah Hamon, 102, will be held at 11:00A.M. Thursday, in St. Marks Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert M. Hale officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Born February 21, 1914 in Fort Mott, South Carolina to Nettie and John Carroll, Mrs. Hamon died Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was retired as Executive Secretary from Hamon Fixture Company and was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Survivors include her granddaughter, Mrs. Teri L. (Joe) LaMarco of Jacksonville; a grandson, Phil Swint of Fleming Island, FL; two great-granddaughters and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
