Elizabeth "Dell" Rosseland Elizabeth Dell Rosseland passed away peacefully on April 14, 2013 after a full life made complete with the love of her Faith, Family, and Friends. Dell was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 16, 1927, the only child of the late Raymond W. and Gladys Steinmeyer Keys. Dell attended local public schools in 1945. She served her Community as a Nurse, was active in her church at Prince of Peace Lutheran, and various civic groups. Her love of the beach brought her to reside on Amelia Island in 2002. Dell loved playing card games with her ladies group. She also loved her trips to the North Carolina Mountains. She was the wife of the late Dr. Carl F. Rosseland, with whom they share over 57 years of marriage. Dell was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Dell is survived by her daughter, Karen R. Torley Scaife (Shelton), of Fleming Island; her son, Raymond Wayne Rosseland (Stormy) of Fernandina Beach, FL; Four Grandchildren; Tiffany T. Craig, Arthur Neal Torley IV (Jordan), Raymond W. Rosseland, Jr.,Anthony V. Rosseland; and Three Great-Grandchildren, Trinity R. Craig, Triston R. Craig, and Isabella R. Rosseland, and her constant companion, her beloved Yorkie Sami. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 (904)355-9545, with Rev. Ida E. Iverson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
