Mrs. Ellen Horton of Keystone Heights age 92, passed away January 9, 2013 in Royston, GA while residing with her son. Mrs. Horton was born on February 29, 1920 in Platea, Pennsylvania to the late Norman and Martha (Koletka) Graham. She spent her childhood in Pennsylvania, and later met Albert Horton in New Jersey whom she later married. In 1941 they moved to Miami where they raised five children. After her husband retired in 1982, they moved to Keystone Heights and became members of the Keystone Heights Christian Church. She was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. Her husband of 72 years Albert Horton had preceded her in death. Survivors are her five children; Valerie Simpson and her husband Norman of Crescent City, Ellen Passmore and her husband Don of Lake Como, Arthur Horton and his wife Linda of Livingston, TX, Robert Horton and his wife Diane of Royston, GA and Albert Horton and his wife Debbie of Edmond, OK. Mrs. Horton also leaves behind her 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Horton will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the JONES-GALLAGHER Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buster Appling officiating.
