Mrs. Ellen A. NorthrupMrs. Ellen A. Northrup age 73, of Starke passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Shands at The University of Florida. Mrs. Northrup was born on November 7, 1938 in Saginaw County, Michigan to the late Milo and Lizette Bannan Pumford. Ellen was a homemaker, member of the American Legion Post 56, and attended the First United Methodist Church of Starke. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Northrup and son Davy Hafner. Survivors are: children: Glenn Northrup of Jacksonville; Vonda Barclay of Detroit, MI; Keith Northrup of Starke; Mark Hafner of Brant, MI; brothers: Bill Pumford; Jack Pumford; Bob Pumford; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Memorial services for Mrs. Northrup will be in her home located at 810 Parkwood Place in Starke on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
