Elsie T. Wood

Elsie T. Wood 82 of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born February 8, 1939, in Sharon, Connecticut to the late John Windsor and Maude Caroline (Ball) Bonhotel. Elsie worked many years with the Central Union Missions in Washington, DC before making Keystone Heights her home in 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved working for the Lord. Elsie enjoyed reading her Bible, writing, and had even composed music and songs. She is survived by nieces, nephews, caregivers Lee and Freda Harris of Keystone Heights and a host of additional church family and friends. A private burial will take place at the Keystone Heights Cemetery with a memorial service being held at the First Baptist Church at a later date.
