A graveside service for Emily S. Campbell will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Boulevard Jacksonville, FL 32207 with Reverend Billy Jones officiating. Emily S. Campbell, age 98 of Jacksonville, FL, passed peacefully to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 after a long illness. Emily was born in Philadelphia, PA and later moved with her family to East Orange, NJ. She married Joffre Campbell in San Antonio, Texas, while he was serving in the military. They later moved to Scotch Plains, NJ and then Jacksonville, FL. Emily was a loving wife and mother who was always deeply involved with her church and many various community organizations. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister. She leaves behind her son, daughter, a sister and many other much loved relatives and friends. Her family sincerely thanks everyone for their heartfelt support and prayers, along with Community Hospice of Northeast Florida for their excellent care and all the other healthcare professionals who provided their kind-hearted assistance throughout the years.
