Mrs. Emma Frisbee Baldree age 90 a lifetime resident of Clay County passed away at her home Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born August 21, 1932, in Doctors Inlet to Joseph and Lillie (Mosley) Frisbee. Mrs. Baldree was not only a homemaker, she also enjoyed being a caretaker for others. She was once employed with Clay County School Board as a School Bus Driver and cafeteria worker. Mrs. Baldree was a Christian and of the Baptist faith; she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and especially taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Baldree and their son Richard Baldree; grandson Chris Payton; and son in-law Ralph Bradley. Left behind to cherish her memory are three children Joey Baldree (Linda) of Starke, Barbara Bradley of Keystone Heights, and Donna Lawson (Dave) of Green Cove Springs. She was also known as "Meme", "Granny", or "Nanny" by Jason Baldree, Angie Robbs (David), Josh Bradley (Liz), Jeremy Bradley (Tara), Pamela Sheffield, Nathan Jett (Amy), David Lawson, Jr. (Kelly) and Candy Timbee (John), along with twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2023, in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Josh Bradley and Reverend Jakie Carmicle officiating. Interment will follow at Gadara Cemetery.
